Clients will instinctively ask for what they think they can get plus some. It is your responsibility to respect yourself and your time and stand strong. Sew patience into your client’s expectations from the get go and be up front about time frames and price.
Tighter time frames and budgets result in lower quality results.
A solid reputation is built on doing a job well. Don’t allow a demanding client to take this from you. Set the timeline in stone before starting work and stick to it. It is natural for a client to push but that doesn’t mean you should fold. Decent clients will respect you more for it.
A reputation for performing punctual work to a high standard far exceeds a reputation for quick turnaround times. It also breeds a better quality of life. Stressed workers are erratic not efficient.
