People rarely understand the solutions to their problems. It’s what makes them problems.
When internet users see low resolution videos, they often ask the video creators to upload higher quality versions. They see a problem and they suggest a solution.
What they often fail to recognise is the actual solution – upload lower quality videos. Low processing computers intentionally reduce the quality of high resolution videos to prevent slow load speeds and buffering. Sometimes they overcompensate.
To solve a genuine problem, don’t ask a customer what they want. Ask them why they want what they want.
